Cherilynn has extensive experience in family law matters, including divorce, maintenance, Personal Protection Orders, applications under the Guardianship of Infants Act, and the variation of court orders. She has represented clients at all levels of the Singapore Courts and has successfully appealed decisions of the Family Justice Courts, including cases that resulted in landmark rulings on legal principles considered for the first time in Singapore. She has also guided clients in achieving amicable and practical resolutions through mediation and direct negotiations between counsel.
Over the course of her practice, Cherilynn has developed particular expertise in issues arising from cross-border marriages and international family disputes, including forum non conveniens, financial relief following foreign divorce proceedings, anti-suit injunctions, and matters involving the relocation or abduction of children from Singapore. Prior to joining Godwin Campos LLC, she also acted for clients in commercial and other civil disputes.
